Everyday Emancipation Mixtape is now available for free! (07/05/10)
Good afternoon guys! Did anybody do anything fun this past weekend? I didn’t do too much, but it was good for me to take it easy these last few days since the past two months have been extremely busy for me. Starting towards the middle to end of April, I had begun working on some new music and as of this past week, I uploaded it online for you all to download for free! You can preview the songs before you choose to download them at www.commissary.bandcamp.com.
The project, which is entitled “Everyday Emancipation,” contains thirteen tracks and includes collaborations from some good friends of mine such as Christina Rivera, Ameen Hudson, Watchman, Jerrell Johnson, and in-HIM. The Lord allowed these talented artists to really bring the project to life and to make it cohesive.
The concept of the project is our freedom in Christ and the daily privilege of experiencing what it truly is all about. So when you have the time, please take a listen to the songs and begin to treasure, more than ever, the fact that we are no longer slaves to our sin, but we are now free from them through the atoning work of Jesus Christ. Let whomever you know hear this project. Burn copies for your children, relatives, youth groups, students, etc. I hope you all are blessed from the content that you will hear. Have a great rest of the week and God bless you!
